Whitelist address

Feature Description: 1. Only one sub-account user can be designated as the whitelist manager at any given time. 2. Only the whitelist manager can add addresses to the whitelist in the CoinSign App's address list and sign them, ensuring these addresses are protected from tampering. 3. Both the whitelist manager and other sub-account users can select addresses from the whitelist in the CoinSign App when performing dispatch operations.

  1. First, designate a sub-account as the whitelist manager by following these steps: > In the main account's CoinsDo platform, navigate to "Sub-account" page and click the "CoinSend" action button for the desired sub-account to open the CoinSend Settings > Set "Whitelist addresses management permission" to "Yes" > Under "Add whitelist device", select the sub-account's CoinSign device and submit the changes.

  2. In the “Whitelist address” page of CoinSend center, you can verify the current whitelist manager and signing device ID.

  3. The whitelist manager must first share their public key with other sub-account users for signature verification. Please refer to the steps and images below: > The whitelist manager logs into the CoinSign App and taps the sub-account name at the top left to open the settings screen > Tap “Address list” > On the “Address list” screen, tap the “Whitelist public key” icon at the top right or tap "View public key" > In the “Whitelist public key” screen, tap the QR code icon beside “Verification public key” > On the “Verification public key” screen, tap “Share” to share the public key QR code with other sub-account users. Note: If new sub-accounts are added later, the whitelist manager must share the public key with them as well. Note: If the whitelist manager or their CoinSign device is changed, the whitelist manager must share the updated public key with all sub-account users.

  4. Other sub-account users must configure their signing devices to verify the whitelist using the manager’s public key. Please follow the steps and images below: > The sub-account logs into the CoinSign App and taps the sub-account name at the top left to open the settings screen > Tap “Address list” > On the “Address list” screen, tap the “Whitelist Public Key” icon at the top right, or tap “Configure public key” in the warning prompt > On the “Whitelist public key” screen, tap the scan icon next to “Verification public key” to scan the manager’s public key QR code (or copy and paste the manager’s public key into the “Verification Public Key” field), then tap “Save” > If the warning prompt no longer appears on the “Whitelist public key” screen, it means the verification setup is complete.

  5. The whitelist manager can add and verify whitelist addresses. Please refer to the following steps and images: > The whitelist manager logs into the CoinSign App and taps the sub-account name at the top left to open the settings screen > Tap “Address list” > On the “Address list” screen, tap “Add” > On the “Add whitelist address” screen, enter the recipient name, select the coin type, and input the recipient address (you can paste it manually or tap the scan icon next to the address field to scan an address QR code). Then tap “Save” to add the address to the whitelist Note: To also add the address to “My list,” you can enable the “Add to my list” option > Return to the “Address list” screen and go to the “Whitelist” tab. The newly added address will show a “Address not signed” warning. Tap “Sign” to sign all currently unsigned addresses in one action. Then enter your identity private key password to complete the signing Note: We recommend signing all addresses on the whitelist to reduce the risk of whitelist address tampering.

  6. Addresses on the whitelist that have been verified by the whitelist manager will display the whitelist manager's account name. To delete an address from the whitelist, tap the trash can icon next to the address.

  7. If the whitelist manager or a sub-account user selects a unsigned whitelist address in the CoinSign App’s "Add dispatch record" screen, a risk warning will appear, alerting the user that the address has not been signed and may be unsafe. Note: We recommend using only verified whitelist addresses and reminding the whitelist manager to sign all addresses on the whitelist to reduce the risk of tampering.

  8. Navigate to CoinSend center > Whitelist address page. In the Whitelist section, you can view details of addresses added by the whitelist manager (such as the signer's account name, last signature time, address network, etc.). Click the "View Signature" option next to a signed address, then paste the whitelist manager’s public key to verify the signature.

  9. In the Logs section of Whitelist address page, you can view the operation history of whitelist addresses, such as the address name and the type of action performed by the whitelist manager.
